Loved this hotel! Rooms were clean and large. Loved the western theme. Breakfast was good (not as big as some other Quality Inns that we’ve been to but they had enough selection here). Staff was very friendly.

This was a great place to stay. It was set up different than most motels but it had a great atmosphere. We were here in the off season but I would love to come back in warmer weather and stay again. The front desk was helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. There isn't a free breakfast however.

The kindest thing I can say about this hotel is DONT' STAY THERE! This is a detailed review. If there was no place else available, it would still be better to keep on driving or sleep in your vehicle. This location is out of town a bit, so one thinks they have driven by it before it shows up, near to the turn off for Bryce Canyon, which is why people chose it. It's a large complex, featuring several motel style buildings, and one large one, where the restaurant, breakfast room and check-in are. It's also near to some wide open desert. There are several outside open steps up to the walkway to the first floor rooms, and more to the second level, as there is no elevator. One parks in front of or over their room. An additional long flight of stairs goes up to the second floor over the restaurant, where the breakfast is served and the restaurant is located. This location is not for those in wheelchairs. Be Warned! An outside wall light beside the room door comes on at dusk and cannot be shut off in the room, nor will it be turned off in the office. So it shines in all night long, if the drapes gap. THIS was one problem. The next one was worse. The desert area nearby is home to many types of flying insects which are attracted to this light. Very unpleasant and large bugs, big moths, mosquitoes, and big flies. I spent the first hour and more of our stay killing as many of these as I could, non-stop. I was afraid to lay down for what was on the pillows and bedding. I was afraid to use the bathroom and the towels because when I moved one several more flew out. This was completely UNACCEPTABLE. The lightening in the room is one VERY bright overhead ceiling light. It also has a ceiling fan, which was so wobbly as to be dangerous. We did not dare to use it. If one turns the overhead light off, as it attracts these insects, the other lightening is very POOR. We slept, finally, and very restlessly, and had nightmares about bugs. In the morning, we encountered problems three and four. The third problem began in the breakfast area, which is upstairs over the other restaurant building It is clean and very bright. The food is waffles and eggs, and it was OK. The problem was the Breakfast Room hostess. A fussy older lady who waited until the serving line was quite long and people were hurried. She then stepped in-line to block people from serving themselves while she cleaned and wiped down the entire serving bar. I politely asked her if she could step aside and she told me to wait, and chill out, as she had important work to do. I waited and waited and the line got longer and longer, until she was satisfied. Also quite unacceptable. After breakfast, I went downstairs to check out and to speak to the manager about the impossible room/breakfast situation. He kept me waiting and waiting (he is related to the breakfast attendant) and when I asked him to refund my stay, he got quite smart-mouthed and rude and told me that since I had stayed, I was not due any money back. He said the bugs came from the desert and could not be stopped. And that if I reviewed his establishment, he did not care what I wrote. Then he asked me to leave. Not all Quality Inns are equal. And at this one, the management cares more about it's finances than it does pleased guests. This ruined out stay completely Drive By and Stay Elsewhere.

The Bad: Expensive. Tourist trap. DO not accept pets. Restaurant: Iffy on the food too. Asked if the potatoes were real. They tasted just like the boxed kind. Little bit disappointing. The Good: Atmosphere and decorations are great. Staff is kind and friendly. Dessert was delicious!!!!

At the restaurant, the food quality was extremely poor. Somewhat tasty but very tough meat. The restrooms were dirty and non functioning and no towels.
